SkillSeal Terms of Service

The Terms of Service are the primary contractual terms governing the client’s use of SkillSeal. The following documents are incorporated into these Terms by reference and form part of the client’s binding agreement with SkillSeal to the extent applicable to the client’s use of the Platform: the Privacy Policy, Refund / Credit Policy, Session Guidelines, Cookies Policy, and any other policies, campaign terms, promotional terms, operational rules, community standards, or notices published by SkillSeal from time to time.

A client who accepts the Terms of Service at account creation, checkout, or otherwise through the Platform is deemed to accept the incorporated policies referenced above, even if those policies are not presented as separate standalone checkboxes, to the extent they are applicable to the client’s use of SkillSeal.

For clarity, the Privacy Policy may also be separately acknowledged or accepted where required by law or platform flow, but its inclusion in the account-creation or platform flow does not limit the incorporation of the Refund / Credit Policy, Session Guidelines, Cookies Policy, and other platform rules into these Terms. Session-specific notices, checkout confirmations, join-session confirmations, or campaign-specific notices may restate parts of these policies, but they supplement rather than replace the broader contractual acceptance created through these Terms.

SkillSeal is an online platform that connects clients with vetted experts for short paid live sessions in selected practical skill categories, including career development, arts and design, productivity tools, and AI prompt engineering.

SkillSeal sessions are designed to help clients receive practical support, guidance, validation, review, and issue-solving assistance in real time. Sessions are initiated instantly online after payment, subject to expert availability, platform rules, and technical conditions.

SkillSeal may also provide supporting platform tools, workflows, and AI-assisted features to improve the client experience, but SkillSeal does not guarantee any particular result, outcome, or achievement from the use of the Services.

You may use SkillSeal only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law, you are at least 18 years old or using the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian to the extent permitted by law, and you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you use SkillSeal on behalf of a company, employer, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

To access sessions or other restricted features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, keep your information updated, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, be responsible for all activity under your account, and notify SkillSeal promptly of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or are used in a manner that creates legal, operational, security, payment, or reputational risk for SkillSeal, experts, clients, or other users.

SkillSeal provides a digital platform for instant, paid, time-based expert sessions. Services may include live one-to-one online support sessions, expert review, validation, guidance, and issue-solving assistance, category-based practical support in career development, arts and design, productivity tools, and AI prompt engineering, platform tools, communications, payment processing, and session records, support tools, and quality-control processes.

SkillSeal is not a provider of legal, medical, psychological, emergency, or regulated financial advice, and the Platform must not be used as a substitute for such services.

Clients remain responsible for the decisions they make, the materials they provide, the instructions they give, and the way they use any output, advice, or assistance obtained through SkillSeal.

SkillSeal operates on an instant-session model. Sessions begin online after payment is completed and the client is connected with an available expert through the Platform. SkillSeal does not currently operate on a scheduled booking model for standard sessions unless expressly stated otherwise on the Platform.

SkillSeal sessions currently support voice communication and screen sharing only. Camera or video participation is not part of the standard SkillSeal session format unless SkillSeal expressly introduces that feature in the future.

SkillSeal may offer different session durations and price ranges from time to time. Session categories, durations, and pricing may vary by expert, skill category, promotional campaign, or platform update.

Clients and experts must follow the SkillSeal Session Guidelines, including rules regarding selection of a clear issue or goal before the session, technical readiness before joining the session, voice communication and screen sharing only as the session format, duration compatibility, and conduct during the session. The Session Guidelines are part of the client agreement through incorporation by reference under these Terms.

By using SkillSeal, you agree that you will provide accurate and lawful information relevant to your request, select the category, subcategory, issue, and session duration in good faith and with reasonable care, use the Platform only for lawful, legitimate, and appropriate purposes, join and participate in sessions respectfully and in good faith, ensure that your device, sound settings, and internet connection are adequate to participate in the session, not harass, threaten, abuse, defame, impersonate, or exploit experts, other clients, or SkillSeal staff, not upload or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or malicious content, and not attempt to bypass payment, recording, moderation, or platform controls.

You are solely responsible for the prompts, files, documents, questions, and materials you submit through the Platform.

SkillSeal works with experts who are vetted by the SkillSeal administration before being permitted to provide sessions through the Platform. SkillSeal may review, approve, reject, pause, delist, or remove experts at its discretion.

Experts using the Platform agree to comply with SkillSeal’s platform standards, quality requirements, payment rules, conduct requirements, Expert Terms, and applicable laws and regulations.

Unless otherwise expressly stated by SkillSeal in writing, experts are not guaranteed any minimum earnings, session volume, or ongoing access to the Platform.

When a client pays for a session through SkillSeal, the payment is made to SkillSeal or its designated payment arrangements for the purpose of processing the session through the Platform.

Client session payments are held by or for SkillSeal through a platform-controlled payment / escrow flow pending session completion, dispute handling, Credit review, chargeback review, payment reconciliation, fraud checks, and related platform processing.

SkillSeal is responsible for administering the client payment flow, including payment collection, holding, review, Credit handling, and expert payout administration in accordance with SkillSeal’s Terms, Refund / Credit Policy, and applicable expert-facing arrangements.

Experts are paid on a weekly basis based on their eligible net earnings after deduction of SkillSeal platform fees, applicable tax deductions or withholdings, and payment processing fees.

For clarity, total platform fees and deductions applicable to expert payouts may generally account for approximately 18% to 25% of the session price, depending on commission, tax treatment, and payment processing costs.

An expert does not become automatically entitled to immediate payout merely because a client has made payment for a session. Expert payout entitlement remains subject to the applicable Expert Terms, SkillSeal’s dispute, Credit, payment, compliance, and payout rules, and any lawful deductions or adjustments.

Except where required by applicable law, SkillSeal does not provide cash refunds for standard paid sessions, promotional Credits, or other amounts paid through the Platform.

In certain situations, SkillSeal may issue the client a Credit equal to the amount paid for the affected session instead of a refund, in accordance with the Refund / Credit Policy. The Refund / Credit Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and applies to all eligible client purchases, session disputes, failed sessions, and Credit decisions.

When reviewing a complaint, dispute, or Credit request, SkillSeal may consider the issue or goal selected or described by the client before the session, whether the issue was reasonably compatible with the selected session duration, whether the client entered the session with adequate technical readiness, the session recording, platform logs, and communications between the parties, and whether the expert made a reasonable effort within the scope of the booked session.

All SkillSeal sessions are recorded for quality assurance, platform safety, training, service improvement, and dispute resolution purposes.

Consent to recording is obtained when the client creates an account and through the session guide or session consent flow that the client must accept before payment and before joining the session.

If a client or expert does not provide the required consent to the applicable session terms and recording terms, the session cannot proceed through the Platform.

SkillSeal may access, review, store, and use session recordings and related metadata for purposes including dispute resolution, quality review, fraud prevention, safety monitoring, client support, expert performance review, internal service improvement, and legal compliance.

Session-specific confirmations may supplement, and do not replace, the broader contractual acceptance of these Terms and incorporated policies.

Clients and experts must not request, share, exchange, solicit, or encourage the exchange of personal contact information through SkillSeal or during any SkillSeal session. This includes phone numbers, personal email addresses, WhatsApp numbers, Telegram handles or similar messaging accounts, social media accounts or usernames, external meeting links, or any other contact information intended to move communication, services, or transactions outside SkillSeal.

This prohibition applies whether the purpose is to continue communication outside the Platform, continue the same service outside SkillSeal, arrange future paid or unpaid work outside SkillSeal, or bypass SkillSeal’s payment flow, commission structure, monitoring, recording, dispute handling, or platform protections.

Any attempt by a client or expert to exchange personal contact information through SkillSeal may result in enforcement action, including warning, restriction, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform, cancellation of sessions, denial of Credit or dispute claims where relevant, withholding or adjustment of expert payouts where permitted under the applicable expert terms, investigation of fraud, circumvention, or misuse of the Platform, and, where appropriate, legal action or other legal consequences.

You agree not to use SkillSeal to violate any law or third-party rights, harass, abuse, threaten, discriminate against, or exploit any person, impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, or qualifications, upload, request, or share illegal, infringing, harmful, hateful, defamatory, sexually exploitative, violent, fraudulent, or malicious content, request assistance for illegal acts, academic dishonesty, scams, impersonation, cyber abuse, or other prohibited activity, interfere with the operation, security, integrity, or performance of the Platform, scrape, copy, mine, reverse engineer, or extract data from the Platform without authorization, bypass payments, attempt off-platform transactions, or evade platform fees or controls, or misuse promotional Credits, create fake accounts, or engage in fraud or chargeback abuse.

All rights, title, and interest in the Platform, including the SkillSeal name, branding, design, layout, software, content, and non-client materials, are owned by or licensed to SkillSeal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your use of SkillSeal is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. SkillSeal may use or integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, communications tools, analytics services, cloud hosting providers, support systems, and other technical vendors.

SkillSeal may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform, remove content, cancel sessions, delay or withhold expert payouts where permitted, or take related action if SkillSeal reasonably believes that you violated these Terms or another SkillSeal policy, engaged in fraud, abuse, harassment, manipulation, off-platform circumvention, or unlawful conduct, created risk to SkillSeal, other clients, experts, payment partners, or platform operations, or such action is required for legal, compliance, security, or operational reasons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkillSeal and all Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and SkillSeal does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, or any specific session outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillSeal and its founders, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, service providers, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. SkillSeal’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client to SkillSeal through the Platform in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 JOD, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of SkillSeal shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amman, Jordan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
